Hi, I’m Susan.
I believe pregnancy and birth deserve to be approached with both wisdom and peace.
My work is rooted in the understanding that faith and evidence do not compete—they can support one another. Many Christian moms are seeking guidance that honors their trust in God while also respecting the value of thoughtful preparation and informed care. Too often, they are met with fear-based messaging, rigid philosophies, or pressure to choose one extreme or another.
As a birth and postpartum doula, I support pregnancy and birth through a Christian, evidence-based lens—one that values discernment, compassion, and flexibility. I do not believe there is one “right” way to give birth, nor do I believe peace depends on outcomes. Preparation can be an act of care rather than control.
Here, you won’t find guarantees or perfectionism. You will find:
calm, research-informed education
faith-based reassurance without spiritual pressure
encouragement to ask thoughtful questions
respect for both medical care and personal values
I believe you are allowed to prepare wisely without fear, to trust God without silencing questions, and to approach birth with open hands rather than rigid expectations.
Whether you are early in pregnancy or nearing birth, my hope is that this space feels steady and supportive—a place that helps you prepare with clarity, confidence, and peace.
